Black Spots Appearing On Carpet

Is your carpet appearing to turn gray or black along the edges of your room.

Do you have black lines forming on your carpet along the walls under doors around air vents or along the edges of your stairs. I don t recall this spot encountering any particular moisture so i m not sure what could be causing the spots. The carpet is a soft gold beige color. Why do brown spots appear on carpet.
